NY 1940 is a series that starts with a digital photograph of a male model (IC) and we use further editing to create images that evoke in some way the nude portraiture that could be imagined at that time in America.

The whole series was made in Barcelona (S).

The Material is the result of gathering three dancers, two boys and a girl, in a rehearsal room in the centre of Madrid and improvising a performance based on different types of music, generating a certain sense of chaos to recreate an erotic impulse that alternately moved away and approached.

The work was done with digital photography and subsequent editing, trying to create a pictorial impression that would allow the viewer to observe and interpret freely.

80 took place entirely in Barcelona with a model, actor and dancer (IC). Based on a dramatic text written by Ruiz that was interpreted and danced for this digital photography session. The camera captures, as if it were a photo reportage, different expressive moments during the performance. Subsequently, the acrylic painting that was done live while the performance was taking place and the photographs were taken was added via digital editing.

About N was made entirely in Barcelona with a male model (N). The original photographs were edited with the intention of bringing them closer to the drawing and they were painted with acrylics, including glitter, and then scanned to become unique works.

This collection recreates the possibilities of overcoming the pain of a difficult time through personal rebirth and connection with life.

Another View is a curated collection of some of our works developed over the years, each with its own unique aesthetic take on masculinity. Through this anthology, we seek to present a thorough and diverse exploration of the multiple ways masculinity can be portrayed and understood.

All the works are based on digital photography of different models and then edited. They are made in Barcelona (S).
